Your child got a diagnosis. You got a treatment plan.

BUT NOBODY GAVE YOU A PLAN FOR HOW TO LIVE THIS LIFE.
UNTIL NOW...

Welcome to The Caregiver's Curriculum

When your child is diagnosed with a complex medical condition, you leave the doctor’s office with a diagnosis, a treatment plan, a list of appointments, and maybe a handful of prescriptions.

But where is the plan for you?

Who teaches you how to navigate the emotional weight of caregiving? How to find your footing when the life you imagined suddenly looks different? How to care for yourself while caring for someone who depends on you? How to advocate, adapt, make decisions, manage chronic stress, and build a life that feels sustainable—not just survivable?

That’s where The Caregiver’s Curriculum comes in.

For Parents on the Advanced Track of Parenting

Created by former educator, parent coach, and medically complex parent Carinne Mossa, The Caregiver’s Curriculum is a podcast for parents raising children with complex medical needs. Think of it as your special education for caregiving—a place to learn the skills, strategies, and mindset that traditional parenting advice doesn't teach. Each semester takes you through lessons designed specifically for the realities of medically complex parenting, with practical reflection and “homework” you can actually use in your life.

The first semester introduces The P.E.A.C.E. Protocol® for Medically Complex Parenting—a framework designed to help you move from surviving to creating greater peace, confidence, connection, and capacity as a caregiver.

You'll explore what it means to:

  • understand your own capacity and endurance

  • recognize and respond to caregiver burnout and chronic stress

  • regulate your nervous system in the midst of ongoing demands

  • identify what you need—not just what your child needs

  • advocate for your family without losing yourself in the process

  • create a new normal that works for your actual life

  • and measure progress in ways that matter beyond medical outcomes

Because your child's diagnosis may have changed your life—but it doesn't have to define the rest of it.

You may not have been given a life plan when you received the diagnosis. So let's build one together. Press play, start with Lesson 1, and take this journey one lesson at a time.
